Some books begin with a plan.

This one did not.

A Thousand Moments grew slowly, quietly, over many years. It began as private writing — poems gathered from ordinary days, difficult seasons, memories, grief, love, hope, and the moments that somehow stayed.

I wrote many of these poems not because I thought they would become a book, but because I needed somewhere to place what I was feeling.

Some poems came from loss. Some came from love. Some came from silence. Some came from watching the world in morning light.

Over time, the poems became a kind of map — not of one single story, but of many moments that shape a life. The fragile ones. The beautiful ones. The ones we do not understand until much later.

For a long time, these poems lived quietly within me and then on a bookshelf.

Then my teen son read them.

He saw something in my poems before I fully did.

He helped organizing the collection, encouraged me to share it, and became my editor. In many ways, A Thousand Moments exists because he believed these words should no longer stay hidden.

This book is for those who feel deeply. For those who carry memories like small lights. For those who have loved, lost, healed, hoped, and kept going. For those who know that life is not made only of grand events, but of small moments that return to us again and again.

A Thousand Moments is a collection about being human — about the ache, the wonder, the tenderness, and the quiet beauty found in everyday life.

It is a book to read slowly.

A cozy pause.

A soft place to land.

A reminder that even the smallest moment can hold a whole world.

A small glimpse into the collection

A Thousand Moments is a hygge poetry collection about love, memory, tenderness, healing, family, nature, and the quiet beauty of ordinary life. These selected poems and excerpts offer a first glimpse into the world of the book - soft, intimate moments for those who feel deeply, remember quietly, and find meaning in the small things.

A Thousand Moments is for dreamers, seekers, people with big hearts, and those who notice what others pass by or at least want to. For those who have loved. For those who remember. For those who keep hopes, and unfinished dreams close to the heart. For those still learning how to begin again. Anyone is welcome here.
