Do I need to understand poetry to enjoy A Thousand Moments?

No. A Thousand Moments was written for readers who feel deeply, not only for readers who study poetry. You can read it slowly, return to one poem at a time, and let each piece meet you wherever you are in your own life.

17

Will Astrid Morwen publish more poetry books?

Yes. My second poetry collection, Stardust, is coming out in August 2026. Other collections are also taking shape, including Nature’s Whispers, Through Squinted Eyes, and More Than Words. New book information will be shared on my website and through my free newsletter Poetry & Reflections.

18

What is Stardust by Astrid Morwen about?

Stardust is a contemporary poetry collection about love, grief, healing, courage, family, friendship, belonging, and the ordinary moments that help us keep going. The poems use stars, gravity, light, distance, and other images from the cosmos to explore what it means to be human.

19

Why is the poetry collection called Stardust?

The title comes from the idea that the same ancient matter found among the stars also exists within us. In the collection, stardust becomes a way of seeing the meaning held within ordinary human lives. It reminds us that we are here briefly, but the love, courage, and kindness we share still matter.

20

What does “human-cosmos poetry collection” mean?

It means that Stardust brings human life and the cosmos together. Stars appear in kitchens, windows become observatories, small gestures become constellations, and gravity becomes a language for human connection. The sky is not only scenery. It helps the poems explore love, loss, memory, distance, identity, and hope.

21

How many poems are in Stardust?

Stardust contains 115 poems arranged across nine sections. The collection moves from attraction and connection through loss, healing, courage, family, friendship, ordinary wonder, and the brightness we learn to carry within ourselves.

22

Is Stardust mainly a book of love poems?

Love is an important part of Stardust, but the collection reaches beyond romantic love. It also explores family, friendship, grief, self-respect, courage, loneliness, healing, belonging, and the small acts of care that hold people together.

23

Is Stardust only about stars and space?

No. The cosmos gives the collection its language and atmosphere, but the poems remain grounded in everyday life. They take place in kitchens, apartments, train stations, gardens, observatories, streets, and the familiar rooms where people love, struggle, remember, and begin again.

24

Who should read Stardust?

Stardust is for those who feel more than they say and carry more than anyone sees. It is for readers who have loved, lost, healed, hoped, or searched for their place in the world. It is also for anyone who looks at the night sky and feels both small and connected to something larger.

25

Do I need to understand astronomy to enjoy Stardust?

Not at all. You do not need any knowledge of astronomy. The stars, planets, gravity, and light are used as familiar images for human feelings and experiences. The poems are written to be felt rather than studied.

26

How is Stardust different from A Thousand Moments?

A Thousand Moments gathers many sides of being human, with each poem holding a particular memory, feeling, relationship, or turning point. Stardust has a more closely connected world, with the cosmos running through the entire collection. Stars, gravity, light, and distance become ways of exploring love, identity, loss, courage, and belonging. Where A Thousand Moments invites us to notice the moments that shape a life, Stardust reminds us that even our briefest and most ordinary moments are part of something much larger.

27

Is Stardust only about stars and space?

No. The cosmos gives the collection its language and atmosphere, but the poems remain grounded in everyday life. They take place in kitchens, apartments, train stations, gardens, observatories, streets, and the familiar rooms where people love, struggle, remember, and begin again.

28

Are there poems about grief and healing in Stardust?

Yes. Some poems explore loss, loneliness, old wounds, difficult endings, and the work of beginning again. The collection does not ignore darkness, but it also looks for the light that remains in friendship, courage, self-respect, family, ordinary care, and the people who choose to stay.

29

Can I read poems from Stardust before the book is released?

Yes. Selected poems and excerpts from Stardust are available on the Featured Poems page. You can also read about the inspiration behind the collection on the Behind Stardust page.

30

When will Stardust be released?

Stardust is coming soon. The release date, available formats, and purchase links will be announced on astridmorwen.com and through my free newsletter, Poetry & Reflections.

31

Where will I be able to buy Stardust?

Purchase links will be added to the Books page when Stardust is released. Availability may depend on the retailer, format, and your location.

32

Is Stardust suitable as a gift?

Yes. Stardust may be especially meaningful for someone who enjoys contemporary poetry about love, healing, courage, human connection, and the wonder found within ordinary life.

33

How can I receive updates about Stardust?

You can join my free newsletter, Poetry & Reflections, for early book news, selected poems, reflections, and release updates.

34

Is Stardust a sequel to A Thousand Moments?

No. Stardust is a separate poetry collection that can be read on its own. It shares the same attention to love, healing, and ordinary human life, but explores these experiences through the language and scale of the cosmos.

35

What style of poetry is in Stardust?

Stardust is written mainly in accessible contemporary free verse. Some poems are short and spare, while others unfold through longer scenes and stories. The language is clear, reflective, and intended to create feeling without requiring formal poetry knowledge.

36

Should Stardust be read in order?

The nine sections create an emotional journey, but each poem can also stand alone. You can read the collection from beginning to end or open it wherever you are and spend time with the poem you find there.

37

Does Astrid Morwen collaborate with brands?

Yes, I am open to thoughtful collaborations with brands whose work connects naturally with poetry, books, creativity, nature, wellbeing, slow living, travel, culture, and meaningful human experiences. Every collaboration is considered individually to make sure it feels honest and relevant to my readers.

38

What kinds of brand collaborations do you consider?

Possible collaborations include commissioned poems, written reflections, creative campaigns, book features, selected social media content, interviews, event appearances, and projects built around storytelling. I am most interested in work that gives poetry a real purpose rather than using it only as decoration.

39

Can a brand commission an original poem?

Yes. I consider commissions for original poetry or reflective writing created around a particular idea, story, place, product, or campaign. Please include the intended use, platforms, timeline, budget, and required usage rights when contacting me.

40

Can a brand use an existing Astrid Morwen poem?

The use of a complete poem or substantial excerpt requires written permission. Licensing depends on where and how the poem will appear, the length of use, the audience, and whether the project is commercial. Please contact me before publishing, printing, recording, or adapting my work.

41

Does Astrid Morwen accept gifted collaborations?

Gifted proposals may be considered when there is a genuine connection with my writing and audience, but receiving a product does not guarantee coverage. Paid creative work and commercial content should include an appropriate budget.

42

Is Astrid Morwen available for poetry events?

Yes. I welcome invitations from libraries, bookshops, literary festivals, cultural organisations, schools, community spaces, and other thoughtful event organisers. Depending on the event, I may be available for poetry conversations, workshops, interviews, panel discussions, book events, and readings.

43

Can Astrid Morwen take part in online or international events?

Yes. I can consider both online and in-person events, including international opportunities. Availability depends on the date, location, travel arrangements, event format, and notice provided.

44

Does Astrid Morwen offer poetry workshops or talks?

Yes. Workshops and conversations can explore contemporary poetry, writing from ordinary life, nature as a source of inspiration, emotional honesty, finding your poetic voice, and making poetry feel accessible to new readers. The content can be adapted to suit the audience and setting.

45

Can organisations order books for events, gifts, or reading groups?

Yes. Libraries, reading groups, workplaces, cultural organisations, and event organisers are welcome to ask about book orders or using my poetry collections as part of an event. Please include the number of copies, location, required date, and purpose of the order.

46

Are collaborations and event appearances paid?

Professional collaborations, commissioned writing, workshops, commercial content, and most event appearances are paid. Fees depend on the scope, preparation, usage rights, travel, and time involved. Please include your available budget when sending an enquiry.

47

What should I include in a collaboration or event enquiry?

Please include the name of your brand or organisation, a short description of the project, the proposed date, location or platform, audience, expected deliverables, usage rights, timeline, and budget. Clear information makes it easier for me to understand whether the opportunity is a good fit.

48

How can brands and event organisers contact Astrid Morwen?

Please email contact@astridmorwen.com or use the contact form on my website. Add “Brand Collaboration,” “Event Invitation,” or “Poetry Commission” to the subject line so I can identify your enquiry easily.
